A warm welcome to the Bergschenke
Our Bergschenke in Gerersdorf was opened 25 years ago, in May 1993. We are located in the hills of southern Burgenland at 337 m above sea level, surrounded by an apple orchard. When the weather is nice you can enjoy wide views of the castle Güssing and in the Hungarian lowlands.
In the spacious garden many guests will find the ideal seat. A lot of toys and plenty of space for romping are waiting for our little guests. It is important to us that our guests feel well!
Our Stadl is ideal for private parties and corporate events, even outside of the "out of the box" appointments. In our large and heated Stadl, just a few steps away from the Bergschenke, events of any kind can be celebrated. Every celebration is organized according to your special wishes. Closed companies always available on request. With around 90 seats indoors and a garden with stunning views of the countryside, the cozy ambience invites you to relax.
In the colder season, we host up to 100 guests in a cozy atmosphere in the Bergschenke. Our tavern has its own separate smoking room. By appointment, bus tour groups are warmly welcomed all year round.

Eating & Drinking
We spoil you with regional homemade food. Everything is fresh with us and only seasonal products are used. All our products are from our own farm. Wines, cider and juices are produced by us exclusively for the Bergschenke.
We offer a wide range of culinary delicacies all around meat and sausage from our own production.
Smoked beef ham plate and beef salad, salad variations, cold platters and of course Brettljausn, spreads and breads.
Enjoy our pressed sausage, sausage salad and various salad variations.
Thursday is swirl day. Versatile are the recipes to fill the hand-drawn strudel dough, from piquant over fruity to sweet ranges the palette.
Our apartments
Ferienwohnung Gerersdorf is located in the centre of Gerersdorf bei Güssing amid apple plantations and features a big garden, and a fully equipped kitchen and the owner fills the refrigerator onetime free of charge upon arrival. You can park your car for free on site.
Fresh bread rolls can be delivered to your apartment every morning. The nearest restaurant is just 20 m away and a supermarket can be reached on foot in 1 minutes. The owner's Bergschenke Restaurant is 2 km away from Ferienwohnung Gerersdorf, ovvering views of the Güssin Castle and the Hungarian Plain.
You can use our apartments very well for holidays or as guest rooms. From here you can undertake a variety of activities, such as, hiking, cycling, horseback riding, tennis, golf, fishing or the relaxing spa offer in the nearby spas.
We offer living pleasure in the idyllic hilly landscape in Southern Burgenland, directly in the center of Gerersdorf. The large courtyard invites you to relax, offers plenty of space for fun and games. There are two beautiful apartments available, which can be booked either individually or together. They offer self-catering recreation on 70 m² and / or on 50 m².
The garden features barbecue facilities, outdoor furniture and sun loungers. The Apfelradweg Cycling Track starts right outside. On request, bicycles can be rented on site.
The Hungarian border as well as the thermal spas of Loipersdorf and Bad Blumau can be reached by car in 15 minutes.
Costs: € 23,50 per person / night (including local tax), children under 6 years free, 6-12 years -50%, € 25,00 per apartment once for the final cleaning
